Los grandes triunfadores de la 53º edición de los Grammy Awards, celebrada el pasado día 13 de febrero en el Staples Center de Los Ángeles, han sido el grupo de música country Lady Antebellum, integrado por Charles Kelley, Hillary Scott y Dave Haywood, que arrasó con cinco galardones: Mejor Grabación del Año, Mejor Canción del Año, Mejor Album Country, Mejor Canción Country y Mejor Interpretación Country Vocal Dúo o Grupo, incluyendo grabación y canción del año por esa maravillosa balada titulada ‘Need You Now’.
El triunfo de Lady Antebellum marca una tendencia de éxito de la música country entre todos los públicos, ya que es el segundo año consecutivo que un grupo country se convierte en lo más destacable de los Grammys. El año pasado fue Taylor Swift quien brilló al llevarse el galardón al Mejor Álbum, entre otros premios.
Además de Lady Antebellum, otra de las grandes triunfadoras fue Miranda Lambert, que se llevó el Grammy a la Mejor Cantante Country Femenina.
